The electronics giant has received at least 31 orders in Japan and overseas for its ultrawide 152-inch three-dimensional plasma display screen since unveiling the eye-catching product last July.

In addition, Panasonic received more than 300 inquiries from around the world about the display, which carries a hefty 50 million yen (about $602,500) price tag, company officials said.
